Contrast Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Contrast

Rating: 4.0

Look at the green grassy field,
It is soft and delicate like fleece,
All roam here with great comfort and ease,
They enjoy the perfect bliss;
Grass is the paradise of the earth,
Nothing can equal its stature,
Lying on its soft bed,
One can easily fall into a deep slumber.
But the cactus is not far from here,
It is jealous of beauty and popularity of the grass,
Its prickles are very sharp
And its intention is truly rough;
The fleecy grass must be aware of it,
Benign and serene beauty of the delicate class will be violently challenged by the wicked and prickly cactus.
Dear grass, don't be afraid of it,
For you have so many friends and admirers around the world
And they are all with you.
I can clearly feel in my heart the obvious result of the conflict,
All will take their hats off to great grass.
