Companion In Grieves Poem by Asma Khan

Companion In Grieves

Rating: 5.0

I dropped dreams in the empty bucket of my eyes
which may turn true tomato to stay lies

time has brought about many questions to life
as of death and I have ceased to strife

Lonely nights have no companion in grieves
where can one find him, who never leaves?

erase the glimmering beauty of the day now
or shall I tell you to color me but how?

Silent the roaring past inside your heart
slaying such desires is an art

everyone has a question but no answer
fortune twists my ways like the belly of a dancer

Don't leave those who love you
for there can be nothing more true

Celebrate your life even if for no reasons
grow your own flowers, shed your own seasons
