The Spring After Him Poem by Asma Khan

The Spring After Him

Rating: 4.0

Rub your tears from the falling skies
embrace another breathe of life after him

Set the spring of your heart to this valley
sprinkle seeds of laughter and cheers around

Watch the birds of hopes flying around
believe in the sunrise of tomorrow's day

Bang your sorrows in the sea of miseries
lift new bags of dreams to sleep on

Run to catch the first sight of the rising moon
follow the winds to find your lost peace

Erase the scars of forgetfulness
nourish your soul with patience and joy

Comfort your heart with cuddles of love
accept the awakening of a new being in you

Grant all pains freedom to escape
gather the shattered glass of strength

Take over the time to beat the undercurrent
raise a glass to the memories and blow them away

Seize the woes in the castle of wounds
Call on the bliss from the heavens to spread joys

Fight all your fears to face them
colour your eyes with victory and glory

Make time your slave from now
do nothing but something you didn't do before

Enjoy the living of freedom once again
Escort this spring after him like a QUEEN!

There is a message underlying this poem. One should not get bogged down by the adversities. He should rather face all odds with courage and strive for a brighter and better tomorrow.

Very well said... I wish we all feel the same whilst going through the rocky roads. Unfortunately, we can not see ourselves through the bird's eye view. Hence, a weaker side appears in us.
