Coastal Karnataka Pilgrimage Poem by Ratnakar Mandlik

Coastal Karnataka Pilgrimage

Rating: 5.0

The mesmerizing nature,
With it's marvels picturesque
And stunning scenic beauty,
A proof of the Creator's bounty.

Magnanimity of His creations,
Tranquility as in the heaven,
Around Raja and Rani waterfalls
Was evident off Yellapur Jog falls.

Temple Murudeshwar on sea coast,
Tallest statue of Lord Shiva installed;
Serene Uma-Madhukeshwar Banbasi,
Divine spot of Southern Kashi.

The pilgrimage Coastal Karnatak
Reaffirms to the Lord our thanks.

Ratnakar ji, what a beautiful poem. The coastal Karnataka is, indeed, very beautiful. The nature along with the temples make it a wonderful journey. After reading this beautiful poem, i feel like making a trip to the Coastal Karnataka, so similar to Kerala's bountiful nature. Thank you for this poetic marvel.....10

Thanks a lot Geetaji for your encouraging comment. I had been to the God's own country in Feb,2013 and penned a poem Pendulum based on experience there-in. I will be obliged if you read it and comment on it.
