Christmas Morning Poem by Practicing Poetess

Christmas Morning

Rating: 4.7

Tearing into colourful paper,
Tossing ribbon on the floor
Squeals of delight to savour,
Peals of laughter, children roar.

Bleary-eyed, the parents listen
Watching from their bedroom door.
Sleep-deprived, camera's not working,
Christmas morning's here once more.

Yes, Kostas- - Unless, of course, you happen to be the bleary-eyed parents!
