Christmas Light Poem by Preston Simmons

Christmas Light

Over the hills
And across the sand
The shepherds rise,
Across the desert land.
The new star means Christ is born,
And it shows these servants where.
To The King of all Kings
Whose blessings we share.
Wise men follow them
Towards the growing light.
Each of them know with surety
Who was born this night.

A small family is huddled in a manger,
Against the darkness abroad.
Mary bore a perfect son
To save each of us, the flawed.
If you want to help others find joy
Who are searching for a reason
Then do all you can
To Testify of Christ
This Christmas season.
