I haven't know you for long
This setting has matched your past
Smells of coffee brewed as a living depiction of an addiction you'd grow to have
You asked if I listened?
To your scribbled words & curved smile
That made my eyes take notice to you
Wanting to find out more while your eyes wander off
Increasing my thoughts, before they take a second pause to remember your name
My pen begins to flow with this scripted journey
That brought me to your native home
How could my water be smart?
Tempting you to drink the fountain of youth my age anoints
Helping you turn around while you were taking moon walks
Educated & beautiful, I eliminate your multiple choice
Increasing your interest to become a guest
In my train of thought as we look out the window to the station of Van Ness
Could I do something random with you?
Create smiles & teach you the art of a stick as we begin to take risk
Can I take you away from this place?
Walk that walk love & smile once more love
As I chisel down your previous existence & create chills running through your vertebrae
