Is this love
when celebrities marry
and choose exorbitant wedding dresses
wedding venues, wedding receptions?

Is this love
when film-stars marry
and either come to India or travel abroad
to choose their wedding venues?

Is this love
when actors marry
and invite other celebrities and Ministers
to grace their wedding to gain more publicity?

Is this love
when celebrities marry
and religious and social functions are
alternated as per the bridal couples' whims and fancies?

Is this love
when film-stars marry
and a non christian bride chooses white wedding gown
as symbol of fun, fame and fashion?

Is this love
when an actor calls other actors and VIP's for wedding
and the common man has to sit and watch the
wedding ceremonies either on his Television
or on the Internet?

Is this love
when actors invest in luxurious clothes, jewelry
and wedding receptions
and the poor of my country scrounge to buy a ticket
to watch the movies of these celebrities?

Is this love
when every film-star deceives the spectator on screen
but in reality he or she deceives her or his own-self by
hosting such fairy-tale weddings to make themselves feel
so superior in love when marriage needs only love to
sustain a lifetime relationship?
