It's a turd! It's a braggart
It's a narcissistic blowhard
Here's a hero whose as shallow
As his muscles are as hollow
Here Comes CAPTAIN EGO! ! !



Soaring through the air of hubristic motion
Vanities his strength, he wields with fine devotion
His greatest superpower is his banal personality
Self-infatuation is his red kryptonite Vitality
Its Captain Ego!

He can bend an insult to internal adoration
And drown in beneath the praise without suffocation
He can lift a building, but only if you gape
Or crush an armored tank, if you drool beneath his cape


He can never save child, from a burning building
Or stop a plane from crashing, or an oil tanker spilling
But he'll take applause with a titanic sense of pride
The stature of his Arrogance is his loving bride

Look out everyone for Captain Ego Comes
His humility spares no expense bar none
If you want a hero who can talk about himself
Captain Ego Calls from the halls of his toy shelf

He cant save the world,
but he's is own pearl
He doesn't need a villain
when his smirk does all the killing

So look out folks when Captain Ego Calls
