We dream, we dream, we dream
While the boat has parted ahead of us, up stream

We float, we float, we float
While staring at the stars, ahead of us, our boat

We sink, we sink, we sink
While California on our minds, goes away, in a blink

We swim, we swim, we swim
For we need no boat to win

We breathe, we breathe, we breathe
For we need no one to reach what we seek

We reach, we reach, we reach out
For we will reach California, without a doubt
