But Memories Stay Poem by shrutika kahale

But Memories Stay

They engender when we are unknown,
the sins they contain are supposed to be condoned.
Because they frame the past
and we forgive them at last.
They flash that frozen time
on our inward eye giving shivers to the spine;
they choose their medium,
they fly in when we are in the state of tedium,
may it be smile, tears or a huge laughter.

At times we hold them, at times they do,
We want them to leave, but they leave a feeling of blue.
They remain with us life long
The journey always end but memories stay strong...

'The journey always end but memories stay strong...' Thanks for sharing this beautiful work. Our relationship status might change with time but memories remain with us to bring smiles and cheers when we relive those moments in nostalgic moods. Thanks.
