Broken Beauty Poem by Payal Priya

Broken Beauty

Who is that in the mirror?
Blurred at edges
Hollow at the centre
Torn into pieces,
Yet held together-
Stitched.
A Stranger who looks like me.
All painted and plastered,
Concealer and blush-
To hide the Hyde in me;
Gloss over ruins.
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is this broken beauty?
