Beyond The Closed Glass Window- 2 Poem by Upendra Majhi

Beyond The Closed Glass Window- 2

And at one post meridiem,
in hungry stomach.mind and soul
seeking respective feeds,
fragrance of old dish, and fish curry,
stiiring his appetite,
mellifluous notes of old songs,
that was stirring his mind and that ofall,
those who stand and serve,
and those who sit and eat,
filling their mind with equal joy, old and new,
dish by dish and fish by fish
he ate all, and collected all other inputs
that he can ruminate about, at silent moments,
old song, old romantic past,
As usual tree leaves fluttered in rhythm to each note,
and its flower bloomed a little more to each note,
emitting better and better fragrance.
