Begging For Forgiveness Poem by ahmed saif

Begging For Forgiveness

I too want to be with you
Sometimes my hearts too bleed
Like you
My friends in syria
My friends in Palestine
My friends in all over the world
Blood doesn'tcome out from the bleedings
But agony that I feel, makes my body twisted
Twisted like a thread
I wake up every morning
With that wound of my heart
With a hope for remedy
With a hope for coming round
But all I get is more wounded
I am going to get rid of my heart
To stop felling hurt
My little friends
Forgive me for my helplessness
I want to be with you
when bombs are dropped on you
I want to be with you
When you are under a devastated building
Waiting to be rescued
I want to be with you
When you are in israeli detention
I too want to share the same cell with you
I want to face the same tortures as you
My friends in guetemala prison
I want to be with you
More thananything in the world
You take bullets
When I seek shelter
You being killed
When I seek resources
Forgive me my brothers
And sisters
Forgive for being such a coward
