Beauty Deserves Praise Poem by samuel nze

Beauty Deserves Praise

Rating: 0.5

Beauty deserves praise;
If a gecko falls from a wall
Upon your face,
What can it mean -
That your foes wish you
To fall out of favour?
But if you are strongly attractive
No matter what they do,
You will always succeed
In keeping your friends.

Sorry Samuel, I hit submit twice it seems and couldn't delet the double message...if it had been more positive, I guess you wouldn't mind.

Somehow the body of this short poem does not follow the first line. Perhaps I am just dim, but there may be other 'dim' readers. I am all tangled up in wondering why I must be strongly attractive to keep my friends...and what a Gecko has to do with beauty deseerving praise. I'm not fond of obscure poetry. Raynette
