Ave Maria Poem by Scott Barrymore

Ave Maria

Rating: 5.0

Ave Maria,
My heart starts to sing.
I met a girl named Maria.
In the distance bells ring.

Turbulent world, out of my way.
There's nothing more you can say.
Her name is written upon my heart.
Etched and golden, from the start.

I saw her eyes, then hopelessly lost I became.
Casting her beautifully loving spell.
I would never be the same.
She took my hand and lead me to be,
A being of light eternally.

Is she an angel sent from above?
Only a cherub could create such love.
The bending of time, the curving of space.
All I see now, is her loving face.
