Artistic Tributes At Shrines To Artists Poem by Terence George Craddock

Artistic Tributes At Shrines To Artists

Rating: 5.0

share emotive sung visions
within glorious radiant white light
splitting into all colours spectrums

of vibrant water droplets
rainbow seen unseen in human light
spectrums enter an artist

in appreciation adoration may comment
on inspired music paintings sculpture words
in tribute at noble shrine of another artist

tribute at altar may be a daisy
buttercup rose or rare orchid exquisite
in craft gift given it is sentiment

sincere which matters immortalizes moments

p2 by her first sight of white daisies in my father's rich green lawns of grass, would sit and play among them for a long time, unsteadily rise to walk to new patches, the lure of small white yellow centre daises in green grass were captivating.

p1The closure lines were inspired by a memory of my eldest daughter Kayla at 13 months. My mother had about 30 to 40 orchids, a few quite rare, my eldest daughter did not have even a few seconds interest in any orchids, Kayla was raptured instead
