Armed Visitors Poem by Hillary Nwaigbo

Armed Visitors

Rating: 3.0

Like a thin blade,
He swiveled his way through my heart
Our shared memories, an indelible ink
Your smiles just like a pack of jade
A gait carved by the finest of art
My breathe swept at the snap of his click

His hands soft like the kiss of the cold,
The warmth of his chest I couldn't resist.
Should there be nights of dark clouds,
Your cuddling embrace rains down my bossom.
Like a duchess in wait for her Knight,
Your smooches I couldn't help but reminisce.

On this weathered day,
As the dusk awaits the break of dawn
Just wannabe,
the very reason you grin in your dreams
When the sun thickens the Earth's clay
