Will you swear an oath that
you could never keep,
and vow that you could always be
all that i will need?
and when you leave,
who then will pick me up?
I cannot cease
will thy force me to grieve?
do not look at me
with ice and fire raging
hell within your eyes;
for it comes soon enough
when i will rise and see
and feel the silence in my soul
creating a howling wild wind
that steals my very being
I should take your word
only to keep a broken shard
that lacerates the world I walked in
with its jagged edge
Enraged loss will take over
tossing me completely under
to deep wintry searing ice
cherishing its new prey
Fervent dreams concludes to madness
Unable to sleep,
Yet still i will long to see
your beloved face
So,
do not look at me
with ice and fire raging
hell within your eyes
at my disbelief,
for it comes soon enough...
it comes soon enough...
