An Alien Love Poem by Payal Priya

An Alien Love

Rating: 5.0

He observed constellations,
I was bewitched by stars.
Moon was my paramour,
He dreamt of being an astronaut.
We two searched for life -
He in other planets,
I in coloured wings of a butterfly.
He studied about asteroids,
I was a meteorite.
I found myself in verses,
He looked for theories and facts.
Two galaxies; so near and so far.
Ours was an alien love.
The love of Venus n Mars;
Ridiculed by this world
An alien love.
