Amongst The Legends Poem by Victor Cruickshank

Amongst The Legends

As the sun shines bright on the lovely Earth
So was I blessed with a good life, at birth
And as the moon brights on the Earth at night
We are all grateful for the moon and sun
And as a new day starts, and the later had passed
Grateful I awake, like a child at rebirth
Life ain't nothing like diamonds and pearls
Even those can wait till we pass the test
The test, the race which I plan to win
I ain't even kidding, trust me I plan on winning
I plan on having the pearls and diamonds
Being richer than those people, the Drummonds
All I need's a few million seconds
A few seconds to be amongst the legends.
