Alone And Gone Poem by Ruth Gordon

Alone And Gone

Voices whisper in her ear
Of how everything was not near
Hours passed but still she sat
Till her pride caved in and she wept

None to hear her
None to save her

As she screams pain
It will always rain
She pulled out a rope silently
As it tightened she struggled violently

Finally they came
They cut her down in vain
They would never stop weeping
As they watch their own blood seeping.

Most unfortunate... Is this you? You write so well...I've read several of your poems, and I see a trend...loneliness, sadness, a hollow feeling, desperation. I do not read happy, pleasant or content. I encourage you to keep writing about your feelings as a way of dealing with everyday strife...and talk...talk to anyone who will listen...but just talk... Supportive hugs, Dee
