Gray light—summer dawn.
Three raccoons—two big, one small
make storm drain exit—
O all the life that thrives
apart from daylight eyes!
Nature is colossal and awesome! what we see through our small eyes is just a wee bit. A Tanka that portrays the animals with changing seasons, day light and darkness. Beautifully written, dear Glen.
