Abundance Poem by Asma Khan

Abundance

The moon kept burning in my eyes
when you walked away
and your words flew in
flight of a million lies

The sun cried in the absence of
your passing shadow
bringing crippled hopes to
sow in the memories meadow

The breath became an air
carrying your fragrance
in abundance
alluring the coffined dreams
to an infinite indulgence
