I am enslaved in one vast love affair
that gives me strength to cheer up all despair.
To answer when this affair began,
with smell so pure as sweet as first love.
I am swayed to the time of grave obsession,
those fears to lose him in dearth of confession.
Time was tender enough for me,
God gave his approval and I wed thee.
Seasons changed from winter to fall,
Years into decade, smile into laugh.
Deeper I sank in his love each day,
but failed to touch the bottom I say.
A women who loved one man from her youth,
often wonder that it is a blissful truth.
They are destined to love each other so,
hold it till last breath and never let it go.

Beautiful romantic piece of poetry that depicts the true essence of love - a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly; a voyage of pure bliss embarked on by couples with natural mutual affinity for each other, well articulated and insightfully penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Mehnoor. Please read my poem COLOSSAL MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE.
