A Sole Sailing Leaf Poem by DASHARATH NAIK

A Sole Sailing Leaf

Rating: 5.0

While bidding bye to the bough
The departing guest lingers
Recollects swings of spring

And its melody that
Mesmerises with dancing —
morn, noon, and eve

Life is but being
obsessed or getting lost
in its splendour

The soul in confines
Seeks a jot of joy
In hitch, hitch hiccups.

The hapless man
In the whirlwind —
A sole sailing leaf.
