A New Sunrise Poem by DASHARATH NAIK

A New Sunrise

The darkness now slips from the grip
giving place to light from all around
the dreams come true and life dazzles
like stars in a dark night bereft of the moon.

All hopes go winged to lead me everywhere
so that I can venture out with out any fear
my future I know not whether it is there
but I have to harvest my actions
very soon.

The best in me and the most with me
the worst in me and the least with me
my world revolves around me to hypnotize
my words kissing my thoughts and prayers.

So true and genuine things appear at a distance
the far and the near make peace with eachother
the hues here and there spread their fragrance
to trap and absorb me in search of its layers.
