A Secret Poem by Alexie Whitman

A Secret

Rating: 5.0

Everyone has their own little secret
Be it the trees, the grass or even the climate
But we never look close
Look close to all the mysteries hidden
We mainly see what we look for
But what about the little details we miss? These are the things which are known
While some are so close yet unknown
A single tree Speaks a Thousand mysteries The mesmerizing craters of the Moon that howl at night
Revealing all its history and secrets
Heard and seen, yet ignored by all of us
The dark and silent Nights
The beautiful morning with Sun shining bright
All whispering the secrets in our ears
Yet we act deaf and wait for them to disappear
What if we hadn't walked away
What if we had listened and stayed?
With them revealing and us observing
Because with everyone lies their own little secret!
