A Portrait Of A Witch In A Maze Of Mirrors Poem by Yasmin Hemmat

A Portrait Of A Witch In A Maze Of Mirrors

Rating: 5.0

Amidst the labyrinth of mirrored halls,
A myriad of reflections, each echo recalls,
With devilish laughter, she screams and declares,
'In mirrors resides a witch', this truth she bears.
'I am the sorceress within these mirrors, ' she exclaims,
'The devil incarnate, my powers I reclaim.'

As she unwraps her garments, one by one, the darkness sprawls,
Unleashing powers, as chaos enthralls.
She shatters mirrors, revealing her cursed sight,
Draped in darkness, she welcomes the night's might.
Igniting fire, a serpentine flame's embrace,
Coiling around her, like ivy in fiery grace.
In the whirl of the unknown, flames ascend with fervent might,
Crafting a new realm in their radiant, dancing light.

In a state of trance, she dances upon broken glass, her soul takes flight,
Embracing scattered chaos, reclaiming her inner light.
She breaks the bonds, with fiery ire,
Unleashing herself from the endless night's dire,
A witch reborn, in fervent desire,
Empowered now, no longer in mire.
