A Mute Song Of Love Poem by Rajendra Rout

A Mute Song Of Love

Rating: 5.0

In the sweet songs

Of the stream

Snaking through the

Heart of the forest,

Some strange feelings

Knock at

The door of my heart.

They don't find a shape

No words resemble

Some goosebumps on

The skin of my mind-

Only feeling,

Only thrilling,

Chilled thoughts

Echoes, in the corridor of mind.

No words,

No words,

Only a feeling,

Only a thrilling,

A lot to say,

A lot to express

But no word,

No word through

The lips,

No word through

The throat,

Only one feeling

Covers the entire world.

Blank mind,

Speechless lips,

Goosebumps on the

Skin of my mind.

Tons of vision

Tons vision

Tons of thoughts

Tons of sounds

Birds fluttering,

Tinkling stream,

Sweet notes,

Sweet fragrances,

No Earth below,

No sky above,

Only me,

Only me,

And my mind blank,

And my lips mute

The heart

Starts singing

A song,

A song of love.
