A Goodbye Text Poem by susette varga

A Goodbye Text

Rating: 5.0

No proper closure
No proper goodbye
No final embrace
No farewell kiss
Our love surrendered
The towel thrown in
No longer worthy
Of any respect
Contempt I now taste
In your goodbye text

Everything seems improper here. I failed to comprehend the core of this poem expect a bit of annoyance reflected here in this poignant write.

(cont.) (cont.) who knew rendition would have such a '#2' definition? : the practice of sending a foreign criminal or terrorist suspect covertly to be interrogated in a country with less rigorous regulations for the humane treatment of prisoners.....yikes!

I'd at least send a postcard: a 'picture postcard'. i'd try to be funny(er) , but i daren't not, as this may be a serious poem with serious emotions involved, involving YOU! if it is/was, good luck! if not, then it is a good rendition of what some others have probably experienced. to MyPoemList. bri ;)
