A Glorious Brightness
The light never fades,
The light never dies,
Its glorious brightness never lies,
I see the belief in your eyes that holds my flickering light
As darkness invades my inner sight,
My deep love is stolen by the night
Sweeping over my emotional garden,
Every flower falls down,
Falling,
Appalling,
My natural love was swept into dark corners,
Swept out to a lonely place
Surrounded by shallow mourners.
But now I float in your softest blue eyes
With your frequent tears melting in the corners,
You hold my hand
As the glorious brightness captures the darkness
Invading the land,
We unite as our love swallows the hate
As we cherish our moments
Our beautiful fate,
God is sweeping our pain away,
The beat of the music is the heartbeat of our day,
A celebration of our passion in are garden of flowers standing tall,
As the light never falls, it is like a stepping stone
To our lovers throne,
As the night creeps away alone.

I love how each stanza progressively intermingle, as a contrast of light and darkness; of past and present; of memories and the reality of the present moment: all creating a wonderful culmination in the last stanza: As the light never falls, it is like a stepping stone To our lovers throne, As the night creeps away alone. Nine three liners very nicely intertwined and makes it a beautiful poem! 'We unite as our love swallows the hate As we cherish our moments Our beautiful fate, God is sweeping our pain away, The beat of the music is the heartbeat of our day, A celebration of our passion in are garden of flowers standing tall' - these are the best two stanzas that I liked most.
Beautifully written, mesmerizing in cadence, it hold the reader spellbound till the end, and wanting more.
