I was born right into it
Music based movies in India
And fancy for the Engineering
Also, the rebellion of Generation X!
I was born right into it.
Caste based politics and Young India.
I was born into the new liberation.
And also the boom of computers.
I was born right into it.
Fancy for the IIM MBA and more.
Thoughts that city is better than village
And people who hook up just for sex.
I was born right into it.
Playground for internet being laid
Emails and Mobiles just coming out
And a season of internet cafes.
I was born right into these things
That I could not see reality otherwise.
There are roots for all these things.
Maybe I see these roots a little now.
I was born into the mid 1980s.
A time of slow and silent revolution.
Now the revolution has ripened
Into worldwide connection digital
Now I look at the younger generation
Born right into the high speed internet
How they are different from us
And how we are slowly incapable of things.
I was born into things and now see
A little more than the immediate around us.
I can see a little better now both sides
Both past and future lays out in front.
I can now see how schools was for slaves
And universities for the social system.
I can now see how uniforms come from military
And everything comes from wars.
I can now see how we don't need wars anymore
Everybody is waging their smartphone wars
Things are different now. Very different.
Maybe there won't be offices in hundred years.
I can see many things now.
Can't even put pictures to these things.
But, the pictures can gain clarity
With passage of time.
