365 Poem by Kiri Xiong

365

Surely this day is for bread and wine
Mending today as we intertwine
Tulips show at my doorstep mat
Wendy has yet to run her lap
The congregation sways, hands aloft
Forging our way to the top
So it repeats and we've tightened the tie
With this extra line for that last goodbye
