Mihai Brinas Poems

the memory
is wandering who knows where
fearing the truth
tearing itself away from me
...

have not hidden my eyes
from any sunrise
i hide my eyes
every sunset instead
...

the tightrope walker on a wire
today is the train
never to arrive
to its destination
...

he has taken a chisel
and carved with it
the casing of a tree
a hollow remained
...

when silence abandons it
the pain held in captivity
escapes from confinement
all over the body
...

personal thoughts
transmitted to others by writing
are the seeds
that taken
...

in my left hand
a drop of rain has dripped
there a crystal flower
has grown
...

from your lips
you kindly drop a smile
while falling
it draws feelings
...

the birds get high in the sky
where nobody
can see them
how they get drunk
...

the poet used to go
to the beach
every morning
the curious people asked him
...

Personal Problems

the memory
is wandering who knows where
fearing the truth
tearing itself away from me
fear is running
holding poetry in its arms
it is sneaking through a slit
melting into the light
something has been killed within me
while a murderer
is walking freely
