Pint sized roars and childish games
Noisy pirates with made up names
Superheroes, larger than life
Tempers flaring trouble n strife
...

Rest your weary head upon your pillow
And let your mind wander
Through breezy summer meadows
Over rolling hills and yonder

The Rascals Poem

Pint sized roars and childish games
Noisy pirates with made up names
Superheroes, larger than life
Tempers flaring trouble n strife
He hit me first he stole my toy
Don't pull his hair u naughty boy
The sound of footsteps fills the air
Of scary monsters everywhere
There's banging crashing in the hall
And tears as one partakes a fall
A wounded child runs to his mother
He's been pushed over by his brother
The mothers now the mediator
The judge the jury and peacemaker
She rants and raves and lays the law
It's hard to reason to boys of four
She wipes the tears the blood n snot
Comforts them then off they trot
The wounds have healed they're on their way
Their off to fight another day
And finally the hour is nigh
The mother gets them clean n dry
There's no more time to act the fool its in the car and off to school
The door slams shut and peace now reins
muffled voices through window panes
The engine coughs and starts to roar
The childish noise it is no more
And off they go they're on their way
And so begins another day......
