The Way To My Poem

I don't know how i reached my poem!
I don't know whether it came to me
Or i went in search of it..
But i know i'm lost!
Lost by its mesmerizing effect.
And i know i can't stay back anymore.

I'm not a poet,
I'm not a prophet,
But still i know..
Something is running out of my heart,
The fire of my mind!
The spark of my soul!

I know, i've 'miles to go',
I know i've footprints to follow,
But i dont know my destination,
Except, its like a fresh carnation.
Awaiting to be kissed and loved,
By the scintillations of her beloved..

I'm a child,
Who wonders the unknown galaxies.
I'm a sailor,
Who admires the endless ocean.
And my poem,
Like a mirage, enchanting the thirsty traveller!

Oh Lord! Give me the strength
To embrace the beauty of the whole universe,
And show me the long way
Which leads me to my poem.
And thus i can feel,
The Omnipotent and attain heavenly bliss...
