You Say Poem by Leesaan Robertson

You Say

You say
I'm your property
When you did not purchased me
And certainly don't owned a receipt
I wish you would stop with the deceit

You say
You love me
Without showing any action
Or giving your so called affection
So why should I continue to believe the lies you spit constantly?

You say
I'm yours for life
Yet you still did not make me your wife
Words are wind
Which goes through your teeth
And under your feet.

You say
You would give me everything I want
But I did not receive anything from you at all
I'm standing tall
Can't you see?
You can't make me fall
