You Belong To Me. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

You Belong To Me.

Christ became a human being,
that we would become human.
Christ taught us the meaning
and human dignity.

He accepted
all, without exception.
There are no chosen
and preferred ones for him.

We don't need recommendations
to have a relationship with him.
We are important to him.

Christ gave indomitable hope
for the downcast and poor.

He did not judge.
He came to heal
the sufferings.

Blind eyes were opened,
depressed ones, dared
to sit up to look up to the sky.

He freed the guilty.
He stood up for it
with all his authority.

He gave everyone
a name and said
to everyone who listened to him:
Don't worry, I am with you.

It became good news,
of hope and confidence.

Hislight shone in the darkness.
Hisword told me:
You belong to me.
