No not always the scorching heat
There are times when summer offers a treat
With sunshine days, clear skies along with the blowing of the cool breeze
That enables you and me to feel at ease,
Work without a feeling of tediousness
Here in North Bengal and Siliguri region
Summer is the wonderful season.

Papayas and mangoes zoom on the trees
And offer a new lease
With alife full of exuberance and abundance
Summers wonderful in Siliguri by god's grace
The cuckoo continue to sing a melody
Summer offer a wonderful medley
Where the wind, the sky, the sunlight, the clouds, the vernal showers the birds, the stars, the moon:all working together
Producing a symphony of excellence at par.
