Witnessing The Heaven Poem by Amitava Sur

Witnessing The Heaven

Rating: 5.0

Remembering, I met you in a golden evening
When Sun was smiling with the rainbow behind,
The roaring sea was beckoning us
With it's dancing waves with white surfs.

Your gorgeous smile was looming like a shining beam,
Won my heart instantly in that moment itself.
Larks were floating on it's white wide wings
Two souls were gleaming with dreams of eternal love.

I was so Fortunate to be accepted by your love
I coronated you as my queen in my mortal happy life.
Accepting you as the finest among all the rest
I bequeathed you all my fortune and means.

Being enthralled with your splendor
And the love you bequeathed
I found my heaven and an angel
Within the princess like you.

I could witness the magnificence
Of the heaven in this earth.
We two were within the uniqueness of heaven.

An echo of that day does constantly loom in.
