Whose Conscience Is It? Poem by Indira Renganathan

Whose Conscience Is It?

Rating: 5.0

He held her hands
She closed her eyes

He kissed her on her eyes
'Sss, eyes are burning'
She said
'My lips are burnt even'
He said
'But no fire in my eyes'
She said

He stood silent, then
'Sorry' he said

Whose conscience is it?
'Stop smoking' it says
