Who Is Neutral? Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Who Is Neutral?

Rating: 4.5

Could you be neutral?
Truly neutral? !
West or East
North or South
Your heart belongs to one
Been instructed in one of their rules
Land is far away
But heart abides with one
Your conviction is bent judging
The west is juicy!
The east is dicey!
The north is icy!
The south is spacey!
Many directions leading to many decisions
But you have to be here or there
Not easy standing on the fence
You must follow your heart
Often that is where you mouth stays
The stomach is the first and the most paramount

Beautiful writing... There are many who think they are neutral but in reality are not. We are normally inclined to some part or another. But I still believe it's possible to be neutral..... I enjoy the wisdom and wit in your writing. God bless you
