16th August 2018 was the day for you to quit the earth
Your work was done
You had to shed of your clothes for another birth
There as a child you will grow and make fun
As the children do always
Then would you remember your past glory that left behind
It was time for you to wind
Reach the stars and be one of them to shoot your beams here on us
Moments pass
Memories stay to feel your presence
In our hearts
Dear Atalji you will be our guiding star
To lead our Nation reaches far
I all the developments we initiate
Hurdles can never stop us at any rate
Bharat will lead the world of your dreams
No intolerance, but "apsi bhaichari" "matbhed" yet no "manmutau"
We will follow your path of arriving at a consensus
With dialogues open for all who agree as well as disagree
And that day we bharatas will be under your tree
It will be the tree of your blessings
Truly this heart then sings
