When I Loved A Man Poem by The Muse

When I Loved A Man

Rating: 4.0

When I loved a man..
Twas wrong from the start
When lies were the bricks we used
To fall irrevocably apart

When I loved a man
There was a glimmer of hope in life
A faded hint of tomorrow
A golden hue a silvery moon

When I loved a man
I thought then it was true
Not pink not white just blue
Twas perfect from the start

I should have known
Not to delve
Into matters of the heart
Twas but doomed from the start

No one knows but sometimes things do go wrong. Well expressed.
