When I wake up in the morning
my first thought is of you.
If you're not there beside me
I do not know what to do.

Every time I see you smile
my heart is filled with joy.
That goes for both of you -
Lee, my wife and Max, my boy.

Every minute of every day
I try to be strong for you,
so you will know I'm always here
and that I belong to you.

We have had our troubled times,
and aside I do not shove this.
I face and learn from my mistakes -
for I believe that is what love is.

When I fall asleep at night
you are foremost in my dreams.
You bring light into my darkness
and you still my inner screams.

I know everything's not perfect
and I don't pretend they'll be.
But every day I will try harder
to love you perfectly.

Sometimes, when I think of you
I can feel my heartache disappear.
My heart will always ache, I know,
but so much less when you are here.

Our time together is special
and I put nothing else above this.
Together and for all time
let us show the world what love is.
