What Do You Know Poem by Majid Mohammed

What Do You Know

What do you know!
Getting laughed everywhere you go,
What do you know!
Getting pointed fingers everywhere you go,
What do you know!
People whispering about you everywhere you go,
Looking down on you like you are trash,
Is it the skin colour?
Is it the walking step?
Is it my disability?
Or is it just your pride?
Is it your ego of showing off?
Or is it just because you are normal?
Am not normal nor a disable,
But am a human,
With feelings,
Emotions,
And pride too,
Should i rip my chest just to show you?
That i have a heart too,
To love,
To hate,
And to pump blood too,
Do i even have to prove myself to you?
That am not a U-F-O,
But i know more,
And you are jealous,
So call me by another name,
Like lame,
And saying we are not the same,
What do you know! (Angrily)
