What A Destiny Of Cigarette Butts Poem by Sheeya Hacks

What A Destiny Of Cigarette Butts

Rating: 5.0

From lip to the gutter, what a destiny of cigarette butts,
little round discs, like little round butts.

They're thrown away without thought, without care,
Just like the way we toss our underwear.

Is it due to stubby and smelly we discarded with haste!
Much like the leftovers we leave on our plates.

But oh, what a sight, what a glorious thing,
When we compare them to our very own beings.

For while cigarette butts may be repulsive and mundane,
but our butts bring laughter and joy, without shame.

With a wiggle and a jiggle, they bring us delight,
while cigarette butts just bring pollution and blight.

There are reasons to celebrate our butts with glee,
and leave those poor cigarette butts ' As Is' or to be.

For in the realm of humor and fun,
our butts reign supreme, second to none.

I am just trying to imagine how would anyone look without BUTTS....We sit to relax on it. For while cigarette butts may be repulsive and mundane, but our butts bring laughter and joy, without shame.

Secsond Stanza is wonderful, We always prefer to wear fresh UG after a bath and then throw it away during night without care, ignoring the fact that it helped to cover our shame....

Profound poem with a humorous touch. I see underlined philosophy of life when you say 'From lip to the gutter' Yes Fate of a Cigar/ Ciggerettes.
