We Are All Colored Poem by Hebert Logerie

We Are All Colored

We are all colored
What's yours?
Are you assured?
Are you like toys?
Red, black, blue and white?
Do you think you're right?
Think again, look again
Dream again, look again
You'll not go to Heaven
Because of one humongous sin
You're heading straight to hell
You can never be saved by the bell
What's your color?
Wow! You're wrong
Yeah! Ding, dong, dong
What's your odor?
The snow is white
And got dirty after a awhile
The charcoal is black, right
It's bright on the new tile
Oh! I got you
You're part of the crew
Who's going the wrong way
Move on, you can fly away
Keep on daydreaming
Stay away from the swing.
