Waiting Call Poem by abhipsa panda

Waiting Call

Rating: 5.0

Oh Lord, you definitely carry the right,
to test my patience.
But from this painful sight,
I need an early clearance.

You have gifted this life,
decision will be yours only.
I am paying huge tariff,
things are not going jolly.

I trust you dear lord,
intentions of yours never rude.
I am that cage bird,
where master is always shrewd.

Waiting for your very call,
I am ready to bear the curse.
Waiting for you to break the wall,
condition of mine getting worse.

I trust you dear lord, intentions of yours never rude. I am that cage bird, where master is always shrewd......nice poetic expression with a nice theme. Touching and impressive too. We are like the cage birds. We act as per the wish of God. A beautiful poem so nicely executed.10
